The kupu (word) 'korua' in Te Reo Maori (the Maori language),  refers to two people. Its a beautiful word and I chose to use it in the name of my counselling practice for two reasons, firstly because  counselling is often a relationship between two people, - the client and the counsellor. Secondly, I love working with couples, - two people,  and I really value walking along side them as hey develop a healthier, more harmonious  relationship. So whether its us two, or you two, helping people work towards a more fulfilling, satisfying and life-giving life is my hope and my privilege as a counsellor.
